Local Mix Scarf
This is the LOCAL MIX scarf. An offbeat combination of Stripes and mini houndstooth pattern in Olive, pink, blue, red and grey.
We were commissioned to create our Local Mix Scarf as a limited edition run of just 12 pieces commission as part of the Made in Glasgow by Local Heroes project which brings together a selection of the city’s leading designers for a public exhibition to coincide with the hosting of the Berlin / Glasgow 2018 European Championships.
Local Heroes mission is to show the world what contemporary Scottish design really looks like.
We saw this as an opportunity to experiment with colour and create something fresh and unusual.
A prefect addition to your home, draped over your favourite chair or can be worn on a cold autumn walk.
Made from beautifully soft 100% Merino Lambswool sourced from a family run British mill that have been spinning quality yarns since 1766.
Knitted for us by a small artisan maker in the Scottish Borders.
